Fun & Creativity

Artsy Partsy

Artsy Partsy is designed to foster creativity and imagination in children from birth to age five. Through various art activities such as painting and drawing. Children can develop their fine motor skills, express themselves, and learn about colors, shapes, and textures. Red Book Club occurs during this playgroup.

Shake your Sillies Out

This playgroup is designed to allow children to sing, dance, and play instruments. Children can develop their listening skills, coordination, and rhythm. Our playgroup involves Ms. Eliza who offers a variety of music styles and instruments to expose children to different sounds and cultures. Red book Club occurs during this playgroup.

Summer Program

Our free summer program at Bedford Judy Center is for children in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Children will learn and participate in:

  • ​Letter and number recognition

  • Art activities

  • Five senses show (science)

  • Reading and Math using Frog Street curriculum

  • The aftercare program provides snacks and wide-range of activities

Home Visits

Our Play and Grow home visits consist of

  • Ages and statges assessments to see where your child is developmentally and emotionally.

  • Parents watching and joining play-time

  • Creating personal goals with parents

Red Book Club

RedBook Club promotes family bonding by allowing families to take 3-4 books home to read with their children. This helps develop communication skills in children from birth to age five. Through various activities such as reading, storytelling, and role-playing, children can develop their vocabulary, grammar, and social skills. 

Family Cook Night

This virtual event allows families to spend quality time together while cooking a nutritious meal. Families will be provided with food items before the event. 

My Gym

My Gym has partnered with Bedford Judy Center to promote physical activity, gymnastics, and circle time for children. Through various activities such as stretching, jumping, and doing flips. Children can develop their gross motor skills and sensory awareness

Food Pantry

Bedford Judy Center's food pantry is once a month and is open to the Bedford community. A variety of foods will be available such as meats, fresh produce, canned goods and bread. An email will be sent to Judy Center families before the event takes place.
